Twisted Locust Peppermill

Twisted Locust Peppermill

This 9 inch tall peppermill was turned from honey locust using a 3-point multi-axis approach. What better kitchen device to be twisted than a peppermill! To establish a clean separation between top and bottom pieces, the block was separated, partially bored and rejoined before turning the twist. A full description is provided in a YouTube video with the link on the first comment. Finish is Watco oil buffed on the Beall system
