umbrella stand

umbrella stand

Ash, wenge, padouk and merbau are the woods used in this beauty. Oak floating diac in the bottom.
Terrific glue up Peter, no mistaking the purpose of this beauty! What is the size please? For what it’s worth, Padauk will turn to dark brown over time so I always suggest using Bloodwood for red! The frame details of the umbrella will likely be lost at some point. Excellent effort Peter!!

Thanks for the compliments!! Size is 55 cm high (22 inches) 29 cm in diameter (11.5 inches). On the picture the foot is still on the glueblock.
