This Urn was a custom order. The customer provided a photo of the bench that his mother used to sit on each day as she sat by the ocean. Watercolor pencil by Lanie.

Another great piece. You did a great job with the finish and the carving, texturing along with coloring. Does the lids on both pieces screw on?

Gary, yes the lids screw on. I use PVC tread inserts. I have always felt that in reality, if they are used as urns anyway, that they will only get opened and closed one time. I would like to master chasing my own threads at some point, but too busy lately.
