Voyager II

Voyager II

Woods: Canoe, mast and boom Black Maire
Sail: Eucalyptus
Rope: Plaited tussock grass
Length: 185mm (7-1/4")
Height: 165mm (6-1/2")

This piece started off as a trial piece to get the scale and shape for Voyager I. I thought I may as well make something out of it rather that throw it away. The sail I turned to 1mm thick. The mast is not turned but hand shaped.
