Walnut and Maple Box

Walnut and Maple Box

This piece was inspired by my friend Mike Fusion's segmented work. Been wanting to try it for awhile and finally got it done. The most difficult part is getting the alignment right. The finial is also segmented or stave constructed containing 4 pieces. Measures 3-3/8" dia. x 5-1/4" overall height. Finished with antique oil and buffed.
