Welcome. There is a wealth of information here. I’ll pass along my standard advice. 1. Join the nearest woodturning club. I’m confident that the dues will be a good investment. 2. I recommend getting professional instruction. I’m confident that you will climb the learning cliff much more quickly with instruction than trying to teach yourself. (You don’t know what you don’t know).
