"Look Poppa," and the 3-year old thumps the front, leaving the face undamaged. From the clinging dog hair, I made the right decision to keep it out of the sawdust palace. She has to wear her polycarbonates to work at her bench. Has her own ear defenders for when I'm at the saw, too.

Gotta start 'em young.

Very true. I remember when my kids would come bustling into the garage when I was working on something. They did know to not distract if there was a motor running.
