First try at brick pattern with the CNC

Interesting. I did a quick test of a brick pattern the other week using my new router jig. I’m looking at making some more cutters to see what other effects I can get.

It is very clean. I'm cutting into the piece with an endmill so it is a bit fuzzy. I need to try out some downcut endmills as those should give better edges. I have figured out how to adjust the cutting depth to get different relief amounts.
