Well, that didn't last long ;). Adam, you will enjoy that sphere jig. Anything from Vicmarc or Vermec (they're brothers) is built like a tank.

I bought one a few years ago after watching Dick Gerard's demo in Pittsburg, PA on turning spheres. He went through all the methods of turning spheres, from free-hand, up to all the jigs currently available at the time. Do a search on YouTube and you'll find a well-known turner who used that jig to turn not just the exterior of the sphere, but to hollow it as well.
