Hi all, It has been some time since I posted anything. Lots going on around my home, including moving! Anyway, I wanted to share with you a piece that I finished recently and won 1st place in a local art competition. It is called FREEDOM. It is in honor of Black History Month and Harriott Tubman. If you look closely you will see red resin in some scratches one the side. There is a chain and cotton ball. Inside there is a Harriott Tubman commemorate coin. I carved the hand and distressed it a bit so that it shows the wear and tear of working hands. I hope you enjoy this piece as much as I enjoyed making it.
