Welcome to the AAW forum, Dave. The lathe appears to be in pristine condition. For those who aren't familiar with the specs on the General 260, could you give the motor horsepower, swing, speed range, etc?

There are many woodturners that read these want ads, but not all of them are members of this forum. In order for any non-members to be able to contact you, they would need either an email or phone number. Sharing that information, of course, is up to you.

Want Ads remain active for 30 days, but you can keep the ad active by posting that it is still for sale before the end of that time. Also, if the lathe is sold please post a reply indicating that it has been sold.

Just saying, I had a general 26020 VS with the 2hp motor electronic VS
I had added an extra movable pendant with full controls.
Included the outboard bed extension for a 28” swing plus extra banjo lathe was purchased new in 2008, after near 1 yr on the market it sold for $2700 Canadian, buyer was from the U.S. so they saved an additional 25+% due to the exchange rate.

First off, as the pic illustrates, the Lathe is capable of turning 20” diameter and approx. 24+ inch platter with the tailstock filler block removed.
