Greensboro Symposium

I have plans to be there Saturday but that could change due to another commitment, which I’m trying to reschedule. I’m a little disappointed with the small number of vendors scheduled to attend.

I am one of those vendors, so make sure you come by and check out the LatheEngraver!

I believe it went live on the website now, but I will be cutting pewa/butterfly/bowtie pockets on site for anyone that needs/wants them in a piece. The piece just needs to be chuck-mountable, or on something that already has 1.25"-8 threads.

Yeah, I noticed that too. This will be my 1st symposium, so I was hoping for more tool vendors. Hopefully more will sign up.

Who all is going to the Greensboro Symposium from 11/7-9? I will be spending the weekend up there, but only registered for Saturday, as I have some other things I want to do while there. I hope to run into some of you!

I'm registered for the weekend. On Sat I'll wear a bright red, burgundy or blue WoodCentral shirt (I just counted, I have 18 WoodCentral shirts in various colors - what's WRONG with me? - don't answer that...)

Maybe a blue John Jordan "Life's too short to turn crappy wood" shirt one day.

I look forward to meeting you and other nearby turners, John!

Maybe you could get everyone here to hurry and turn a wooden hat and wear it so you can find them. I've never made one. When I visited a friend he had wooden cowboy hats all over the place. I always call him when I get large green wood and knew he turned hats but I had no idea how prolific he was.
