Good morning,

My name is Heath and I’ve been woodworking on and off most of my life. A lot of my interest came from my dad 40+ years ago. I took some woodworking classes a few years ago and found that I’m pretty good at it and really enjoy my shop time. I’m very fortunate to have a basement shop during the cold northern Illinois winters. I make mostly square things and wanted to try my hand at round things, so I bought a Laguna midi lathe a few weeks ago. I still need lots of practice, but I’ve been enjoying myself. Here are some of my round things, and one square thing, along with my shop

Hi Heath. Welcome to the forum. Looks like you’re headed in the right direction with your round things, and the splined miter box looks great. That’s a nice shop you have, too.
