Hello, My name is Mauricio Kolenc and I`m a professional turner from Montevieo, Uruguay. I`ve been turning for 27 years now (and teaching woodturning in my shop for 14 years). Although I have personal preferences, in order to make a living out of turning lead me to learn different aspects of the trade, from spindles to bowls and hollow forms. Also chess making, boxes and hand thread chasing. I will be demonstrating in the AAW Louisville symposium next june so it would be very nice if you come and say hello!
