I am selling my 2017 AB that is still in great shape. It comes with the tilt-away + gas shock assist, 12” tool rest and banjo, tool caddy, remote foot off switch, vacuum adapter, caster kit and outboard turning attachment. I hate to sell it since it has been my reliable baby for the past 3 years, but I am moving and just don’t have room. I need to downsize or give up turning, but either way will not be able to keep this. I wouldn’t have a clue how to ship this, so you would need to come to Bellevue, WA to pick it up.

$7,500 or best offer. You know how much this lathe is worth, so please no ridiculous low-ball offers. All info can be found on the Robust website.

In the for what it's worth category. There's a useful web site called 'U-Ship' where you post your shipping needs and description of your freight and different transporters will send you bids on the costs for the shipment. I've used it several times for the larger pieces in my shop. Individual results may vary but I've not had any problems with it. Just a suggestion for any potential bidder. That's a beautiful machine good luck with your sale.

Thanks for that advice and your experience using U-Ship, John. I would consider shipping it this way if someone is interested.

Be careful with U-Ship and other services like that. You fill out the request and then you give someone your credit card number. My experience was that they said I chose the wrong freight code number and after it was delivered I got a copy of a bill where they charged me another $380 because of that code number and that I missed the weight estimate by 10%. I was 300 pounds off a 3,300 pound load. How do you fight that bill when they tell you that it's your fault? It was a nasty surprise.
