Model 46-450 lathe $500

12" swing, 36" or so bed length gap bed.

Motor is a 3 phase 3/4 HP but runs on standard 240 through a Teco VFD to provide total speed control. Lathe also has a reeves drive.
Lathe can be run at any speed from 0 to 3000 and is mechanically sound.

Bearings were replaced in the headstock, tailstock, and reeves drive within last few years. Reeves drive operates smoothly both belts new in last few years as well.

Included with sale:

5 tool rests: 24”, 12”, 6”(2), and a curved one. 3 banjos and an extension. 3 face plates, Knock out bar, Live center for the tailstock, a drive center, and a Nova G3 chuck with 50mm jaws.

Apologies include original paint and patina, replacement cabinet door, spindle lock assembly is missing, knobs are not original, and one of the lightweight banjos is cracked.

Selling to make room for a larger lathe. Will make a good beginners lathe - a nice mix of heavy old school durability and modern speed control with the VFD.

Pick up in Wrentham MA. Can email @ amid_fs@yahoo.com
