Hi Mike--

The internal thread is 8 TPI for a 1-1/2" shaft. This was a size used by Conover, larger, heavier Delta and Powermatic lathes from the 1970's and earlier, some Oliver's I believe, and probably many others.

Based on the Vicmarc website it appears to be M45-2 (ie 45 mm diameter, 2 mm pitch). I don't have a reliable way to measure it though.

In any event, they fit the Vicmarc 120 chuck, Vicmarc part V00564

Thanks Roger, when you get into the metric sized pitches they seem to come in a larger variety compared to the U.S. standard used pitches.
