I finally decided to put my Rikon grinder on the shelf under my lathe. Being concerned about the dust and shavings, I approached my wife about this dilemma. She does a lot of sewing and came up with this. It is a heavy fabric similar to Cordura and has a vinyl lining. She took the measurements of the grinder and this is what I got.

The grinder is on a shelf about knee high. I'm too old to crawl on the floor to sharpen tools. The grinder is moved to the TS about two steps away from the lathe. After I'm done with turnings, the grinding dust is vacuumed and the grinder returned to the shelf under the lathe.
