Turning of the week for June 17th, is Dave Landers' "simple goblet". There was some discussion about the proper descriptive words used to describe it......but, I believe @Bill Boehme called it best....it's simply elegant! :)

In Dave's words.....it is: "Box elder burl, dyed. About 10” high, bowl is about 3” diameter. Dyed (India Ink) maple stem. Lacquer finish."

Very nice! “Simply elegant” is correct! It’s beautiful in its simple graceful lines - not ‘overworked’… something to aspire to, indeed.
