Wood: Ancient Kauri (swamp Kauri)
Diameter: 305mm (12")
Height: 100mm (4")
Wall thickness: 8 - 12mm (5/16" - 1/2")
This piece started off as a round bowl with a wall thick enough to be carved. I have carved a similar pattern as the crib series but instead of instant rust I have finished this piece with a copper patina.
Comments and critiques welcome.
nice, both pieces catch and hold the eye
