Beech hollow form

hello folks

here is a experimental piece for me- it is a beech hollow form which i have tried to create a aged/weather/worn look on by using colour and pyrograph techniques. it measures 6"diameter by 5"tall
Beautiful piece, George! I love the look and the shape. I'm not sure I get the weathered look from the photo, but I love it.

Thank you for your comments.

I do understand what you mean Don- it is hard to capture the effect with just one picture.
Thanks.
