Black Queen Cryptex

Following and adapting the instructions from the journal and Billooms (Thanks!), I was able to make this cryptex for a very special person. I'm real new at turning and the skills required were beyond my expected ability, but I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out.
African blackwood burnished, holly and bubinga finished with spray lacquer.
Very nice, Dean! Congratulations for pushing yourself beyond your immediate ability ... you have good reason to be pleased with how it turned out!

A very nice piece. Well done!
