This is a very nice shape, and comes off well, hifijohn.....

I've been seeing your work here lately, and If you are open to suggestions, I have a couple for you..........

Not sure how you are attaching the wood to your lathe, but you should consider a method that will allow for a smaller diameter foot of the bowl.

Your turnings will be much nicer looking and impressive to the beholder with it's delicate look and lightness, if you can thin down the wall thickness some.

I watched your video of almond and rice bowl.......that's some mighty creative thinking!
