Daffodil Vase

The vase is offset turned, routered, carved and coloured with acrylics from one piece of Cherry. The size is 10"high x 3 3/4"dia. Comments and critiques welcomed.
Yes, Gwilym, there is spring, and your daffodil vase sets the mood. I'm not sure if the daffodils are blooming in S Wales, but they are in South Carolina. The carving and coloration are great!

Gwilym,

In your description you say this is one piece of cherry. so, it sounds as if the daffodils are part of the cherry. In that casethis is incredibly impressive and goes beyond "pretty."

Don Hal,Steve, thanks for your comments.Yes Steve it was made from one piece, it was offset turned to the excess wood on one side for the daffodil carving.
