Fractal Fern

Another math inspired piece. Fractals are a branch of math that describes complex forms some of which are best described as self similar. That is, the edges of the form break down into smaller shapes that are similar to the larger shape. A real fractal would present such self similar form in infinitely smaller detail.

Mike, this is a truly fabulous piece of art & a worthy winner of COD on WOW.
Your attention to detail is a great incentive to us all as to don't be afraid to Have a go & streach yourself. :)

Fantastic piece Mike. Great precision is evident. Not only is the piece wonderful, the photograph is spot on too. The shadows are subtle - not like ones I've done.

Over-the-top gorgeous, Mike. This is one of those pieces that you can look at for a long, long time and never get tired of it. Your design and craftsmanship are exceptional.
