Green lidded vessel

This is my latest work. I have been real busy lately with not much turning time. This is a bit smaller piece than I normally do as it is about 6"x4 ". If you notice all of my acorn caps are oriented in the same direction. This was an experiment to see if I could do it so I kept the piece small in case of a disaster. This is my first piece I have done in green. It is a little more subdued than some of my other pieces but I like it. It kind of reminds me of a peacock. The lid is a piece of live oak burl with worm holes cast in the same resin. The finish is CA.

As always comments welcome.

Thanks,

Alan
