Indra's Dream

Turned Magnolia vase, 13x9x9. The pattern is a representation of Indra's diamond web across the night sky. The surface is textured, carved and pierced. Duochromatic acrylics are used to improve depth of surface colors. Looking from the inside of the vessel, one can see the swirl of star patterns from Indra's web.

This pieces made the cover of WOW. It has also been accepted in the 30th juried exhibition of the Visual Arts Alliance, juried by Catherine Anspon.
