Macadmaia lap bowl

Macadmaia lap bowl

Functional "lap" bowl. Useful for nuts, etc. during the game.
That's a very handsome bowl Bob. What is the red streak on the inside. I've never come across Macadamia before - are they large trees? What are the dimensions of your bowl?

My macadamia source is my neighbor. This was from a yard tree that he cut down. The trunk was 14 inches diameter. This was cored out of a larger bowl that I'm entering in "Turning Green."

It is 6 inches in diameter. The red streak is colored epoxy to repair and accent a drying crack.

As for signing on the side, I do that when there's no foot. I figure the mark would eventually wear off if it was on the bottom.

Thanks for the comments!
