Olive hollow vessel (small)

Same tree as the previous photo. I have four more of these to finish up. It's about 6"D x 4"H. This piece has some great burlly figure. It gives it a lot of motion. Finish is Seal-a-Cell. Voids and cracks are filled with coffee grounds and/or ebony dust.

All comments welcome.
A great piece of wood and a great piece of work. Your right it really moves, looks like oil and water. Coffee ground?, that's a new one on me, and I've just been throwing them away.

Spectacular piece of wood Paul. It truly does appear to be in motion! I have not heard of using coffee grounds before - do you use fresh grounds or used?

Thanks for the comments. I use used-dried coffee grounds, ground real fine. Just push them in the voids/cracks...hit it with CA...stand back cuz it will probably smoke...then cut or sand off the excess.
