This is a piece of "Live dyed Aspen". 6-5/8" dia. x 2-3/4" tall with a purpleheart collar. It is hollowed to a thickness of 1/4" The dye goes all the way thru.
Thanks for your comments. The dye process was done while the tree was still growing, in the ground. The gentleman who did it, as I understand, had to quit doing it for health reasons.
