Vessel - 474

Wormy Spalted Maple Burl, 7" dia x 5" tall. This piece of burl sat outside on the ground at a friends home for more than six years. He gave me this burl and another much larger burl which I have not turned yet. After finishing this piece, I gave it back to my friend.

Thank you Ed. This wood was very interesting to work. Hard in spots, punky and soft in other spots. Needed lots of TLC.
