Rosewood HF

The wood came from the estate of Richard Pagano (Beaver Pond Studio). I hope I did it justice.

Wood: Rosewood (of some kind)
Finish: Sanded to 2000 buffed.
Diameter: 3 3/8 inches
Height: 2 inches
All comments and critiques welcome
It looks more like cocobolo to me with those orange streaks. I'm sure you did the piece of wood justice, but I'm not sure that just one picture can really do justice to your creation. I like the wood and your orientation of the grain, but I can't seem to get a sense of the overall form from the angle of the shot. Given all your other work it's got to be pretty nice though.
