Outstanding work, John. I think that I would find something to replace the wire plate holder.

Many thanks for the helpful suggestions and comments from the basket illusion experts on this forum! I did find this piece much more challenging than the small lidded box basket illusion: despite following Harvey Meyer's video as closely as possible I did encounter vibration problems in the outer edge zone, and it may be my eyes, but I need much more light to see when the beads are completed on the inside.
Yes Bill, this piece deserves something better than the wire plate holder. Incidentally I am still struggling with the herringbone rim motif.

I think that wire plate holder would look perfect, if you painted it black.....just a thought. Otherwise, the embellishment details look superb here...... -----odie-----
