Smoked Ash bowl

Smoked Ash bowl

The first bowl in smoked Ash.
Thanks to Phil I. for advices about smoking. Some of the fields on the rim was masked with tape and coloured with prismacolour markers.
Finished with satin lacquer. The is size 30 cm.
Atle, I like this piece. The color of the wood and the colors you've chosen around the rim remind me of an old hand carved Mangle board my Grandmother brought with her from Norway.
