Sugar Maple Pot

Sugar Maple Pot

I had this hard maple pot in my cabinet drying for two years, it is one of the first I have hollowed to completion. I decided I had waited plenty of time for it to stop moving and decided it was about time I finished it. It was turned green and allowed to squat 6
It has very strong proportions. I also think it was a wise decision not to go for a high gloss look. Attention to detail on the rim is excellent. Ellsworth would be proud.
