Walnut hollow form
Michael Nathal

Walnut hollow form

The figure in this one is outstanding. 7 inches diameter by 3 inches tall. Finished with Osmo Polyx.
Michael - well done. An elegant form. Could I ask what is the opening size you used.
The opening at the top is a little less than 1/2 inch. Only a little hollowing was done through this. Most of the hollowing was through a hole in the bottom (now plugged), about 3/4 inch or so.

That explains what I thought I was seeing - a very small hole to support a 7” turning. I didn’t think that was practical. Thanks for addressing this. Beautiful still!
