Wedding goblets in Bloodwood

Wedding goblets in Bloodwood

A pair of goblets in Bloodwood with captured rings, trimmed top and bottom with Ebony. The small piece is a Niles bottle stopper in a holder, made the same way as the goblets. Folks may think that captured rings are a little fussy, but my non-turning gift recipients really like them. The photo's not too good (taken by me, can't pass the buck), but the gift was well received. BTRW, the bases have chatter work, not just parted off and sanded flush. This was an exercise in chucking and re-chucking.
very nice
