This half-twist bowl was turned from Maple using a 3-point, multi-axis technique on the upper half and traditional on-center turning technique on the lower half. There are three carved feet on the bottom. The ascending spiral of organic-like petals were carved and shaped using Microplane tools. Finish is Watco oil buffed on the Beall system.
