Twisted Walnut Vase

Twisted Walnut Vase

This six inch tall vase was turned from walnut using a 3-point, off-axis turning method. The top edges were cut and carved to enhance the 'organic' shape generated by the twist. If you look closely you will notice that the bottom is round (i.e. turned on center). Finish is Watco oil with a matte Krylon finish.
