Boule de Canton

This one was done at Jean Claude Charpignon's wood shop in France this July. 4 Spheres with a Star in the middle, 65 mm diameter.
Jean-Louis, I haven’t made one yet with a star inside. How much harder is it?

Rich it's not much harder.
You start with the star inside the cone and with a template you check the diameter at the base of the star and how deep you are. This is important.
The base of the star is 6mm and the depth is 25mm for the 65mm diameter sphere.
Then you separate the spheres as you did before.
Your tools need maybe to be adjusted on the right side to take into consideration the point of the star.
