Snowball's UrnNice work. I tried something similar recently with a body of live oak and a simple ring of morado, and the end grain to side grain glue joint just wouldn't hold, probably due to the gluing challenge of the morado. It fell apart on the lathe and I glued it all back together... and then it just... -

I used a razortip sl1 wood burner with a spear point shader and spoon shader. Just need one that gets the pens hot enough to make a bunch of smoke.
