Yellow Cedar bowl 3 1/2" dia and 1 1/8" deepI got the blank from a woodturner on Vancouver Island. From what he told me it does grow in places along the BC west coast. Where or how much is grown I am not sure. It was a soft wood, but not crumbly soft. If you do a google search you can find information about the species. -
