Pear wood goblet

First try at a thin stemmed goblet.
Nice, basic, clean goblet.
Make sure you complete the curve in the bowl.
Flat spots like that can decimate the flow of a peice.
 
Thanks for the input, and I agree. After I finished hollowing, the bowl had a nice, fair curve. Then came the skew to curve the bottom of the bowl. After repairing the huge catch that swirled 3/4 of the way up the bowl, I didn't have enough wall thickness left to fair it back in. Live and learn :)
