Note: Thanks to @Ed Davidson, I'm now in the process of transitioning to using an acrylic paint for permanent inventory numbers. This one is an early example, and as you can see, the numbers look a little "faded" because the Beall buffing was a little too excessive.
Thanks Ethan. I used Daler-Rowney ink (Plaza Art but available at most art supply stores) and applied it with a calligraphy pen. It takes quite a bit longer than using an India ink marker but I like the vibrancy of the acrylic ink.
