Pod Pondering #1

I have been messing with pod forms. For some reason they are quite interesting to turn and carve.

This one is not the first one in this serie but it certainly is the biggest so far. This is about 11" long, turned multiaxis from lime burl. Carved and slightly textured somewhere and gilted inside.

All comments are really welcome and needed.
