Hollow form, 3" long, was turned and hollowed from block of masur birch. I put masking tape around the piece and bandsawed taped part away. Short visit to belt sander and when both parts fitted together ebony veneer was glued on the other part. When glue was aproximately dry enough I took veneer away from inside using Arbortech. After this halves were glued together. Outside of fish was textured with Arbortech. Rest of the black parts were turned from blackwood and white ones from holly. After assembling all parts quick decision of painting inside with acrylics followed... Blood red fits to theme...
