Antiqued Twist Mill

This 8-inch tall twisted peppermill was turned off-center from a block of Douglas Fir. The grain contrasts were highlighted by wire brushing and a finish of Watco oil, India ink and liming wax was used to produce the 'antique' texture. The peppermill includes an internal ceramic grinder mechanism keep the design clean. Adjustment for grind texture is on the bottom of the peppermill.
Cool that the twist makes this piece a "Form follows function" peppermill. Great piece and the texture really compliments it.
