Live Edge Black Walnut Winged BowlLooks great! What was the finish you used? Normally for me the minwax antique oil or other oils I use tend to darken the sp wood more than on your bowl.

Aspen bowl. Diameter 450mmHi Dean! The tree had been felled in the spring 2004 and I turned the bowl same time. Large bowls must be turned while the wood is as green as possible so that they do not crack. Freshly felled wood can be dried into a finished product in a few weeks.
