'Popular' Twist

This 6 inch tall vase was turned off-center from Poplar (okay, I admit I intentionally mis-spelled Poplar in the title...). I used a 3-point multi-axis method to generate the twist. Carving and texturing added some interest to a somewhat bland wood. The poplar was stained a darker color and finished with Watco oil.
