Walnut Twist Peppermill

This 8-inch tall peppermill was turned from a block of walnut. A ceramic grinder mechanism was embedded in the core of the turning. The upper portion's half-twist surface was turned off-center and the lower portion was enhanced with texturing and coloring in an area below the twist. Finish is Watco oil with white liming wax to highlight the textured area.
